Ask student to refresh

Tell the student to : Refresh the page, minimize the view or scroll over.

I would have them refresh the page.  If that didn't work, log off and then log back in. 

Maybe try reset the camera...?

I would ask them what were they working on right before this happens.  Hopefully they will say something about how they were adding a widget or changing the interface.  If so, i would asked them how they would save those changes to the interface.

Ask them what they've tried so far (love this!) and then if they hadn't tried reset camera I would ask them if they thought there was anything on the screen that might allow them to reset their world or the view of their world.
