5 Day Training on Integrating GUTS models and computational thinking into the science classroom.
Teachers with GUTS will offer its end of year workshop for cohort 1 teachers on Saturday, May 13th, from 10:30 am - 4:30 pm at the Old Santa Fe Inn. At this workshop, we will debrief the Teacher with GUTS PD experience and talk about next steps for teachers.
Project GUTS will be offering a 1.5 day workshop in conjunction with the We Teach CS conference at University of Texas, Austin. The workshop will take place on June 9-10th at the Commons on the UT Austin Pickle campus.

NMSU CS department will be hosting the Teachers with GUTS summer PD workshop and practicum between June 12-23, 2017. This workshop will consist of an intensive first week of learning the Project GUTS curriculum and developing models, followed by a second week of practicums at which teachers will practice teaching the curriculum during a Project GUTS middle school camp.

Project GUTS will offer a CS in Science 3 day summer PD workshop in Riverside CA on June 21-23, 2017. This workshop will be facilitated by Su Gibbs and Jennifer Cordova.

Project GUTS is providing a week-long workshop for Middle School Science and Technology teachers, as part of Arizona's Computer Science PD week.
Project GUTS was invited to participate in the NM EPSCoR Interdisciplinary Innovation Working Group (I-IWG) workshop on New Mexico Computational Science Pathway: an Integral Part of NM’s Cyberinfrastructure for Research and Education. At this workshop, participants will discuss computer science pathways in New Mexico (what currently exists in New Mexico? What populations are served by these? then begin to map out pathways, starting with K-12 through higher education and ending with employment.
The Teachers with GUTS cohort 3 workshop will be held as part of the NM CS PD Week, June 4-8, 2018 in Albuquerque, NM. This workshop is open to NM teachers.
Teachers with GUTS will be offering a curriculum design workshop for returning Project GUTS Cohort 2 teachers. The workshop will be held the week of June 18, in Las Cruces, NM.
This is Project GUTS' national PD open to any middle school science teacher in the US.
