This GHG base model doesn't include different types of gases or account for albedo of the Earth's surface to account for if the solar energy is reflected or absorbed. It also doesn't account for the variation in radiated heat during solar cycles or an area with distance from the sun, depending on longitude.
Although this is a great model to show the basics of how the greenhouse effect works and how we contribute to the global warming process, it has many limitations. One is that much of the heat produced is stored in our oceans, the model does not show how the oceans contribute to the process. Another limitation is weather, clouds contribute to the insulation of heat as well as blocking the solar energy which would influence the results of our model as well.

The GHG base model does not include objects that could effect the amount of greenhouse gases, such as trees.
