Great question. In StarLogo Nova 2.0 you click on the "edit camera" button then use your mouse or track pad to zoom in and out. For me, on a mac with trackpad, I have a two finger drag mapped to zoom. On a PC, it might be a right click and drag. Try it and let us know what works for you.
Once the camera is setup the way you like, don't forget to click the "Lock Camera" button to lock it in place.
If you are using a mouse with a scroll wheel, once you are in the Edit Camera mode you can scroll to zoom the screen. On my trackpad, I can zoom with two fingers (moving them apart or closer together). Please let us know if you have other questions, or you can find the link to "StarLogo Nova 2.0 changes" on the News tab, in the story announcing the release of 2.0.
Is this the same way that you would right click to rotate spaceland using a mac?
Hi Phylis,
On a Mac, to zoom in, you click on edit camera then use a two-finger scroll on the mouse pad. I am checking for how to do it when on a PC.

Thank you so much. We were able to get the zoom to work on a mac but are having trouble rotating the camera to make spaceland appear 3D. On a PC, we normally right click and hold it but I'm not sure how to help someone to do this on a Mac without a right click option.
You are welcome, anytime!
On a mac I hold the control and command keys down with two fingers on my left hand then (still holding down those keys) with my right hand, I click the track pad with one finger and scroll with another finger.

It's a 4 finger coordinated move!
