Project GUTS Online Professional Development Course 2017 will be offered with facilitation on June 5 - 30, 2017. In this online course you will experience computer modeling and simulation of complex adaptive systems as a learner then reflect on how you will implement the curriculum and modify it to meet the needs of your students.
Project GUTS' professional development program prepares you to implement the computer science in science curriculum and supports your growth as a science teacher. The CS in Science curriculum consists of four modules: an Introduction to Computer Modeling and Simulation module; an Earth Science module, a Life Science module; and a Physical Science module. Within this 4-week online professional development course, you will cover two of these modules in depth.
